Information

The Strophalos of Hecate is a coven of the Open Source Alexandrian tradition newly started by the founders, Gina and Sarah, in Zurich, Switzerland. We are a teaching coven that encourages experimentation and community.  If you are interested in working with us, please email to arrange a meeting and discuss what your spiritual goals are. We primarily use English, but we are also learning German.

As always, we are intentionally radically inclusive and welcome all persons of any race, color, age, ancestry, sexual or relationship orientation, body size, gender, religion, or any other difference.

DUE TO COVID-19, WE ARE NOT DOING ANY IN-PERSON ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING INITIATIONS, UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. 

Initiation

We have currently moved to a single initiation structure, where one is initiated and then can claim their ordination either during initiation, or claim it later (generally with a new group of their own). The rewrite of the initiation was for many reasons, most importantly to resolve a lot of the issues that the degree initiations posed around issues of gender, bodily autonomy, kink, and egalitarianism. There were also practical reasons for some, due to distance, disabilities, and other considerations.
