Hiving Ceremony and New Chicago Area Coven Forming!

Gina and Sarah, the Circle of Cerridwen/Open Source Alexandrian Tradition founders, are relocating to the Chicago, IL area, and so it was necessary to hive the Circle of Cerridwen so that they have the ability to start a new coven in their new home.

Last night was the hiving ceremony which was both emotional and beautiful. The Circle of Cerridwen will still exist in the San Francisco Bay Area. The new coven, to be known from now on as the Strophalos of Hecate, will start once Gina and Sarah have settled in in their new place in Chicago. (Also look for more information and lore on the Strophalos of Hecate page in the coming months.)

Both covens will be at Pantheacon 2018, and we are discussing the possibility of having a big Mabon get together in Chicago in September (which will also be around Sarah’s 50th birthday!).

The Witches’ Order of the Golden Dawn will stay as it is, but will be doing more work remotely.

If you’d like to know more about us, ask to join one of our covens, or would like to ask questions about the information on our site, you can contact all of our groups via our contact page!

While it is a big, and emotional, change for all of us, we are also excited about the new possibilities it will bring to spread radical inclusion, and, being true to form, causing more trouble. 🙂
